TEN-YEAR-OLD Gregory Birchenough from Darwen has completed a swim equivalent to the length of the English Channel.
The Holy Trinity School pupil signed up for the task in order to help raise money for ASPIRE, one of the UK's leading spinal injury charities.
In total he has raised over £800 for the charity.
Gregory started the swim on Monday, September 17 and completed the distance in sessions at Daisyfield Swimming Pool and Shadsworth Leisure Centre.
Greg is seen receiving a cheque from Twin Valley Homes for £220, raised by employees who sponsored the swim.
