A HODDLESDEN school has been praised by Ofsted inspectors.
St Paul's CofE Primary was described as a good school with some outstanding features'.
Inspectors praised the school's achievement, the good value for money it provides, and also singled out challenging leadership and improved academic guidance.
A better curriculum and strong, enthusiastic teaching have helped raise standards.
Headteacher Bernadette Bickerton said: "Everyone involved with our school family is delighted that our strengths have been recognised.
"The good and outstand-ing features are a direct result of the hard work and commitment of staff and governors.
"They are also reflective of the wonderful children and families that we have.
"I am proud to be part of such a wonderful team."
