A WOMAN will go on trial next week accused of murdering seven-year-old Emily Jones at a park in Bolton.
The youngster was killed on March 22 in Queen's Park in the town in front of her parents.
Eltiona Skana, 30, has already pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of the girl
But she has denied murder and prosecutors say they will be taking the case to trial after a brief hearing at Manchester Crown Court.
The trial over the alleged murder on Mother's Day will begin on Monday.
Skana, from Ernest Street, Bolton, will appear in the dock through a video link from Rampton Hospital in Nottinghamshire.
