A MAN who spat twice at a police officer had a curfew order revoked.

Burnley magistrates heard how Mark James Jackson, 34, had flouted the order because he had been homeless.

The defendant, now of Montrose Street, Brierfi-eld, had earlier been given the order after admitting police assault. He was given a 12 month super-vision order with alcohol counselling instead.

The court had been told how the defendant had been given the 11 week curfew in September.

Roger Pickles, defending, said Jackson, who broke his neck and back diving into a sloping reservoir was soon to have electromagnetic therapy and it would be impossible for him to be tagged.
