FOOTBALL freestyle phenomenon Liv Cooke has added a new feather to her cap after seeing her global events cancelled due to Covid.

The 21-year-old says being stuck in the UK has given her the time to explore another major passion – property investing.

At the age of 14 she signed for Blackburn Rovers Centre of Excellence and has now moved onto property investment after setting up Liv Cooke Properties Ltd last year.

The four-time world record holder already owns two investment homes and secured her first property deal at just 19 – a two-bed apartment in Buckshaw Village.

Her second investment was a one-bed flat in Manchester bought off-plan, however construction has been delayed due to the lockdown.

“They aren’t the most lucrative investments, but I’m young and they will pay off in the long term,” Liv said.

“Most people seem to be putting their money in houses to rent out. I’ve learnt that in business better returns come when you go against the crowd. That’s why I’m targeting commercial developments.”

Liv believes she has the right qualities to become as successful in property as she has been in other areas of her life.

In addition to her football skills, the UEFA ambassador is well known on TV as the co-host of BBC’s prime time Match of The Day X programme and has made guest appearances on Football Focus.

In 2018, Liv founded W1NFLUENCE, an international talent agency representing global superstars, freestyle football world champions and Cirque de Soleil performers.

Liv has a massive social media following too, attracting 72 million likes from her 4.5 million TikTok followers and has an audience of more than 700,000 on Instagram.
