COLNE schoolchildren were urged to 'use your loaf' as part of a road safety campaign by a family bakers.

West Street Community Primary School's pupils and teachers were presented with high visibility jackets from Warburtons Burnley bakery worker Scott Cryer.

He said: "With the statistics in road accidents on the rise, educating and supporting our local comm-unity on the importance of road safety is a key initiative of ours."

Warburtons has worked with the Children's Safety Education Foundation (CSEF) to design a teaching resource to help schools achieve and maintain the Nation-al Healthy School Standard.

Warburtons has donated over 1,800 mini high visibility jackets to schools in the North West.
