In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a number of cars in the Ribble Valley were broken into.
Items have been stolen from several vehicles by offenders, who police believe struck within a three hour time frame.
Officers patrolling in Chatburn are now asking residents for any CCTV footage they may have from the hours between 3am and 6am.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Overnight we have received several reports of theft from vehicles in the Chatburn area.
"It is believed these incidents have occurred between the hours of 3am and 6am.
"If any residents or visitors to Chatburn have any information or CCTV of any offenders, please call us."
Those people with information or any footage should contact the police on 101 quoting log reference number 0347 of September 15.
