TWO men have been charged with growing cannabis after police executed warrants in the Trinity area.
Police charged Steven Jackson and Anthony Smith, 37, of Bevington Close, Burnley, with producing a class C drug.
Jackson, 43, of Westmorland Street, Burnley, was also charged with abstracting electricity.
Police have urged people to come forward with information about suspected drugs offences.
PC Adam Gordon, Trinity community beat manager, said: "The warrants were carried out following information from the local community and concerns raised at local Police and Communities Together meetings."
Jackson will appear in Burnley Magistrates' Court tomorrow while Smith is scheduled to appear in court on December 3.
