DANCERS are being offered a final spin round the floor at a historic ballroom due to close this weekend.
Sanderson's Dance and Fitness Centre based at Tony's Ballroom in Town Hall Street, Blackburn is relocating to new premises on Saturday.
The dance studio has been open since the 1930s, when couples would meet to find musical entertainment during the war years.
But the premises are no longer suitable for modern dance classes.
It is thought that the council-owned property will remain shut until further notice. Before it closes, people are being invited to take a final tour.
Sanderson's will be relocating to Hutton Street in Furthergate.
Mrs Sanderson said: "The new studio is purpose built with sprung floors, improved lighting and ventilation."
