A man who admitted taking the handbangs of two elderly and vulnerable women has been warned to expect a custodial sentence.
One of Philip O'Dea's victim was 62 and on a motorized scooter when her bag was taken.
O'Dea, 29 of Blackburn Road, Accrington, had been due to stand trial at Preston Crown court. He pleaded guillty to the theft of a handbag belonging to the 62-year-old. He also admitted robbing an 80-year-old woman of her handbag.
He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on Janaury 9 next year.
