A NELSON engineering company has scooped an energy efficiency award at the 2007 Lancashire Business Environment Association Awards.
Fort Vale, which manufactures equipment for the haulage storage industry, won the award for the second year running after more than 20 energy saving improvements were put in to make the factory more energy efficient.
Carl Thornley, group health and safety manager, said he was delighted that all the hard work that had gone into making the improvements had been rewarded.
