A POLICE dog helped to trace a missing woman during the early hours, ensuring she could get the help and treatment she needed.

PD Zues and his handler assisted officers from Blackburn with locating the woman during the early hours of this morning.

Able to trace her in around half an hour, the assistance of PD Zues ensured the woman was able to quickly get the help she needed.

A spokesman said: “PD Zeus assisted @BlackburnPolice this morning locating a female who had gone missing from her home address. Found after approx 30 mins saving valuable officer time and getting her the help and treatment she needs.”
