FIRE crews were called to an incident of flooding inside a property at Redlands Close, Whipton, Exeter, this evening (Saturday) at 7.30pm.
The brigade received a call from the resident stating there was water coming through her ceiling.
One fire appliance from Exeter attended.
Crews confirmed that there was flooding in a second floor apartment coming from a flat upstairs, due to a bath tap being left on. Fire crews isolated the electrics inside the property and removed the excess water. The incident was left in the hands of Exeter City Council who were arranging an electrician to check the internal electrics.
