POLICE have seized several cars in Blackburn following reports of flytipping in the area.
Earlier this afternoon, officers from Lancashire Police's Blackburn Neighbourhood Policing Team, supported by the Blackburn With Darwen Councils Environmental Crime team, seized the vehicles in the Highercroft area.
Officers from BWDBC are set to lead the investigation going forward.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "We know that environmental crime is a concern to many of you and we will continue to work with our partners to tackle these issues and bring those responsible to justice.
"We will be shortly launching Lancashire Talking in Blackburn and Darwen where we will give you the chance to tell us about the issues that are affecting your particular area and we will then come up with a plan to try and address them.
