BURNLEY Football Club will have a Covid-19 testing unit on site on Harry Potts Way, Burnley, tomorrow and Monday.
The hours of operation will be 10.30am to 3.30pm on both days.
The site will be open to pedestrians and vehicle drivers and passengers, and is for any symptomatic people aged over five.
There will be a testing capacity of about 250.
All people must have booked an appointment using the government website.
Appointments will be available to any member of the public who suspects they have contracted the virus.
The move comes as Premier League football restarts after having been forced to suspend games in March in the wake of the pandemic, allaying fears that the season may have had to have been abandoned entirely without a resolution.
The resumed matches, including those at Burnley FC’s Turf Moor, will take place behind closed doors, with fans unable to attend in person.
The testing unit on Harry Potts Way will be one of several set up around the country as lockdown restrictions continue to ease.
