This February, Blackburn with Darwen Library and Information Services are holding a Love month' -a series of events and activities inspired by the Time to Read' Pure Passions' promotion to promote the literature of romance.

For the young at heart there is a Valentine Card making workshop at Darwen Library on Saturday, February 2, 10 -12pm. (This activity is for ages 7 and older.) Mills & Boon romance books celebrate their 100th anniversary in 2008, so the library service is giving everyone the chance to enjoy Mills & Boon books by releasing them as Bookcrossing' books all around the borough during February.

In the run-up to Love month' keep an eye out for CottonTown's Real Love story' competition, and the chance to vote for your favourite Mills & Boon category of romance.

Free tickets for all events are available by filling in a booking form and returning it to any Blackburn with Darwen Library. Booking forms will be available from all Blackburn with Darwen Libraries and Blackburn Museum.
