A 17-year-old man has been charged in connection with arson after two fire at an Oswaldtwistle rest home.
The man was arrested on Sunday and charged with arson and arson endangering life.
The arrest relates to two alleged arsons at Church View Home for the elderly, Oswaldtwistle on Saturday and Sunday..
He was due to appear before Hyndburn Magistrates.
Firefighters were called after curtains were set alight at the rest home, in Church Street, on Saturday.
Two pensioners had to be evacuated from the building by staff, who also put the fire out.
And at 7.45am on Sunday curtains were set alight in another room, with the fire spreading to the radiator and melting the plastic on a television set.
Nobody was hurt but a box of matches was found at the scene.
Firefighters were called and police interview residents and staff.
