AN EAST Lancashire business has just completed a project on Cardiff City football club's new stadium.
Nine workers from Bacup-based ground improvement specialists Pennine moved on to the site in the city in September.
Over six weeks they inserted 5,700 stone columns to strengthen the ground in preparation for the construction of 10 new units within the 30,000m retail park.
The contract was worth £300,000.
The retail park, which includes Costco and M&S, represents nearly a third of the Cardiff City development.
