Generic burglar burglary
POLICE in plain clothes were on foot patrol in parts of Blackburn this morning following a spike in burglaries.
Officers were on the streets of Mill Hill, Fernhurst, Ewood and Lower Darwen and called on residents to report any suspicious activity.
A police spokesman said: "Team4 were out in plain clothes on foot patrol around the areas of Mill Hill, Fernhurst, Ewood and Lower Darwen.
"We were targeting these areas due to recent burglaries, please keep valuables out of sight, cars and property locked.
"Please report any suspicious activity via 101 as we won’t be far away."
