A care home in East Lancashire has been creating daily videos for its residents and their families.
Hazeldene Residential Care Home in Wilpshire has been on lockdown for the last week, with some residents having no contact with their families for almost a fortnight, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As a way to lift their spirits and help keep morale high, staff and workers at the Ribchester Road care home have been creating parody videos starring themselves and some of the elderly people they take care of.
Natalie Vernon who works for Hazeldene said: "We are on lockdown at the moment and our staff are making videos everyday to keep everyone smiling.
"We have a Facebook page full of videos from our residents and our staff, with some of them going viral.
"Our residents haven’t seen their families for two weeks and our staff wanted to create videos for them and their families to make them smile and keep up their spirits.
"It's been a real group effort between all the staff and we hope to keep spreading the love for everyone."
"I want to thank all our staff for their hard work during this tough time."
