M65 closed in both directions at junction 5 after a police incident
Traffic is now flowing again on a major route after a police incident.
The M65 was completely shut at junction five, although access onto the motorway heading away from the junction was still available.

Motorists were told to expect delays but traffic has now been released and both carriageways are flowing once more.
Ambulances were spotted approaching the scene.
The nature of the incident is not yet known.
