Motorists warned about heavy traffic after accident
MOTORISTS are being warned to expect disruption this morning after an accident.
There is heavy traffic on the B6232 Elton Road and Grane Road near the Grey Mare Inn.
Traffic is also not being helped due to weather conditions, affecting traffic between Haslingden and Blackburn.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "We got a call about the incident at around 6am this morning.
"A car had come off the carriageway and had got stuck near the Grey Mare.
"There were no injuries reported and the car has now been recovered.
"There was also later reports that a vehicle had blocked the road."
According to the Lancashire Telegraph's traffic feed, it is claimed that travel time on the road is nine minutes.
