BLACKBURN town centre has again made the North-West finals of the annual Britain in Bloom competition.
It is joined by Barnoldswick in the contest run by the Royal Horticultural Society.
Last year Blackburn town centre won three awards in the Britain in Bloom North West Awards.
It was the third year in a row the town centre has won gold medals in the regional competition for its floral displays, planters and hanging baskets.
Last year Barnoldswick was named best town in the North-West.
Blackburn has been shortlisted in the Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), Town Centres & City Centres category.
Cllr Phil Riley, Blackburn with Darwen Borough regeneration boss, said: "The council and Blackburn BID are delighted by the shortlisting again of the town centre's floral displays by Britain in Bloom recognising all the hard work put into them. We consider it important to do all we can to improve its environment."
