PUPILS from St Francis Primary School, Cherry Tree, proudly show off their handiwork - their own newspaper which they produced in 1990.
The youngsters took part in a project with the Telegraph to design and write their own paper which formed part of a display in the Crypt at Blackburn Cathedral.
As part of the project, the school’s ‘editorial staff’ visited the Telegraph offices and saw every stage of the newspaper coming together during the day.
For their front page, the youngsters led on the story of pop star Gloria Estefan being injured in a coach crash while on tour in America.
