THAT back to work feeling was delayed in 2010 as many schools were closed and many staff members stayed at home after heavy snow covered the town.
Ten years on, we haven't had a repeat of similar levels of snow and that doesn't look set to change in the next week.
The latest weather forecast says temperatures will be 'unseasonably mild' later this week with highs of 13 degrees.
And rather than sleet or snow, we're more likely to get light rain showers and a gentle breeze.
In 2010, forecasters warned of icy roads and treacherous travel conditions across virtually the whole country - and no respite in the Arctic conditions.
