A teenage driver who knocked down a pedestrian in the early hours of the morning was found to be more than double the drink drive limit.
Nicholas James Shepherd, 18, of Brownhill Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to drink driving.
He was banned for 20 months and fined £170 with £65 costs. Shepherd gave a reading of 84 against the legal limit of 35 after the incident in Knowsley Road, Wilpshire.
