A crash between a car and an HGV caused tailbacks and congestion during rush hour on Monday morning.
The crash happened around 7.30am on the A59 eastbound from the A671 to Holm Road close to Barrow.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called to an RTC between and HGV and a car, but it doesn't look like there were any significant injuries to any of the motorists.
"One lane was blocked and the other was passable."
The ambulance service was informed but was not required to attend to provide treatment or take anyone to hospital.
Congestion backed up to Northcote Roundabout and affected traffic heading from Barrow towards Clitheroe.
