THE Grey Mare pub in Belthorn has won a national award for best casual dining programme, with the British Institute of Innkeeping.
Stephen and Rebecca Prince recently celebrated their 20-year anniversary at the Grey Mare, also celebrating national pub of the year for 2018 and best investment award 2018 from Thwaites Brewery.
This has been topped with the award handed out at the Cafe De Paris in London, Leicester Square, beating competition from multi-million companies.
They said: “We didn’t expect to win the award as our competition are very professional and successful.
"We are so proud of our team and are absolutely elated to have won this fantastic award.
"We’d especially like to thank all of our staff and Thwaites Brewery for all your support."
