AN engineering firm in Pendle has snapped up a well-established supplies firm just down the M65.
The JSD Group has acquired Accrington-based R M Williams, which has been offering tools, machinery and safety gear to tradesmen since 1965,
A spokesman for the Trawden Forest-based purchasers said: "The business sits very well with our existing businesses and will complement the group nicely."
Engineering and construction specialists, JSD was established by managing director Stuart Dickinson in 2001.
The company has also made a name for itself through its offshoot JSD Motorsport, which fits out vehicles across a range of disciplines.
