The Flying Scotsman made its way through Todmorden in 1969, much to the delight of hundreds of railway enthusiasts who turned out to watch it roar through the town.
Reaching speeds of up to 60mph, the locomotive, which was built in 1922, was pulling eight coaches as it made its way from Doncaster to Carlisle.
