THREE people have been released on bail in connection with drugs offences following the death of a man found unconscious at his home in Burnley.
The 35-year-old, of Thorn Street, was taken to Burnley General Hospital but pronounced dead on arrival late on Monday.
A woman and two men have been arrested on drugs offences and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Police said they have seized items from the house and are awaiting the outcome of forensic tests.
A post-mortem examination took place on the 35-year-old yesterday.
Detective Inspector Derek Jones said: "The three people were interviewed in relation to the incident and they have now been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage although we have not confirmed the nature of the means of death because our inquiries are at an early stage, but there is a drug link."
