St Aidans Avenue in Blackburn
A CAT was rescued from inside an engine of a car.
Firefighters and RSPCA staff were called to St Aidans Avenue in Mill Hill, Blackburn, at around 8pm on Saturday.
A fire service spokesman said: "A cat had become trapped in the engine compartment of a car.
"We managed to get it out and the cat survived and is now comfortable."
