A FAMILY-run restaurant has reopened following the loss of a beloved teenager.
Francesca Sanna, 19, known to her friends and family as Mim, died on October 6 from a suspected allergy attack.
The teenager's family, who own Franco's restaurant in Union Road, Oswaldtwistle, closed their business as a mark of respect.
In a Lancashire Telegraph article we reported that this was 'until further notice,' but staff rallied together and the restaurant reopened two days later.
Kim Sanna, Francesca's mother, said: "We closed only on Sunday October 7.
"The staff all pulled together and we reopened on Tuesday October 9.
"However, from enquiries we are receiving, people are still under the impression that we are closed."
More than 600 people attended Francesca's funeral and an unprecedented amount of people left tributes to the former Rhyddings High School pupil on our website.
Mrs Sanna added: "We thank you for the coverage of our daughter's sudden death and the online condolences.
"These have brought a great deal of comfort."
