A 12-year-old boy has been arrested following a spate of criminal damage in Darwen town centre.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested for smashing the glass in two bus shelters, the window of a pub and the window of a shop.
It is estimated that the damage will hundreds of pounds to fix.
A spokesperson for the police said: "After being interviewed he has been referred to the Youth Offending Team who will now work with him to hopefully change his behaviour and impulses before his offending escalates."
