A CHATBURN-RAISED and internationally-acclaimed fine art photographer and printmaker is the star of a new exhibition.
Chloe McCarrick, who attended St Augustine’s RC High School in Billington, is one of 19 leading British artists showcased in the exhibition In-Print at the Platform Gallery in Clitheroe until September 21.
From her London studio and darkroom, she blends science and art to create bespoke, original and limited edition prints and gifts celebrating the lives of trailblazing women.
Ms McCarrick's work has been exhibited internationally, including at the famous Saatchi Art Fairs and will be again next month in Los Angeles.
Ribble Valley Council’s arts officer Katherine Rodgers, said: “In-Print is a showcase of celebrated British printmakers, who produce astounding work.
“We are particularly delighted Chloe McCarrick is part of the exhibition – not only is her work internationally-acclaimed, but she undertook work experience at the gallery while a local school pupil!”
