A NELSON company has donated more than £7,000 to The Prince's Trust.
Daisy Commun-ications raised £7,500 following six months of fundraising activities between April and October this year.
This included a charity raffle that took place during a gala dinner.
Some £3,000 was raised on the night after they donated a signed England shirt, signed football and a bottle of champagne.
The firm donated £4,426 after pledging to given £1 for every customer that signed up for e-billing, a campaign aimed at converting the company's 20,000-strong customer base from paper bills to a more environmentally-friendly alternative.
Daisy's commercial director Tony Dixon presented the cheque to trust's commercial director for the North West, Richard Marsh.
He said: "We recognised the fantastic amount of work The Prince's Trust does for young people, not only nationwide but also closer to home in East Lancashire.
"Daisy wants to help support more of these young people and assist in whatever way it can."
