A pensioner is awaiting sentence for sex offences committed against three girls up to 40 years ago.
Gerald Greenwood, now 72, pleaded guilty to three allegations of rape, and seven charges of indecent assault, at Burnley Crown Court.
The defendant, now of Scott Street, Todmorden, was bailed until December 27, for pre-sentence and medical reports.
The court was told he had to undergo chemotherapy for bladder cancer. He was ordered to live at his home address, not contact victims and to have no unsupervised contact with anyone under 18.
He was also told to sign the Sex Offenders Register.
Judge Beverley Lunt warned him: "A custodial sentence is inevitable."
