CONGRATULATIONS to all school leavers across East Lancashire, who have been enjoying their prom nights.
The hard work has been done and, before the nervous wait for GCSE results, it is time for teenagers to let their hair down and dress to impress.
We appealed for photographs to celebrate the milestone event in the teens' lives and we were sent stunning snaps from schools across the borough.
A spokesman for St Wilfrid’s, Blackburn, said: "Students celebrated in style and 'dressed to the nines' for their leavers’ ball down at Mytton Fold.
"This was a special year group, one that have stuck together well and formed some brilliant friendships.
"This was evident as they laughed and danced the night away together."
