THE Lancashire Telegraph's annual wedding fair presented a whole host of treats for prospective brides and grooms.
Brides-to-be hunting for their perfect dress watched as 62 dresses were modelled during the largest wedding fashion show in Lancashire.
The event was at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Blackburn Road, Clayton-le-Moors, yesterday.
Cake makers, bridal ware businesses and a classic car company walked off with a number of orders by the end of the afternoon.
And the Lancashire Telegraph Wedding Fair 2007 has been hailed a success by those who took part.
The aim of the event was to provide bridal-related businesses with an opportunity to exhibit both products and services to all those couples planning their prefect wedding.
Jan Pettitt, owner of Special By Design bridal wear in Darwen, organised the catwalk and Winstanley's Morning Suits of Oswaldtwistle provided the suits.
Sue Andrews of the Dunkenhalgh Hotel oversaw the event.
She said: "The hotel itself has had two bookings from the event and other companies have picked up a number of orders too.
"It was a great success and the quality of people who came and exhibited was first class."
