RIBBLE Valley' Live is set to return to the borough next month - and last twice as long.
Organisers have revealed the festival will run over two days and will include a range of acts including Good Foxy, Furious Styles and Paris Taylor, along with Katy Perry, A Touch of Little Mix and Noasis tribute bands.
Organiser Chris Bird said: "We had such a good time last year that we began planning this year’s festival almost immediately after the last one had finished, ensuring we secured the best tribute acts in the UK.”
"We’ve made it a two-day event this time because we wanted to make it bigger and better.
“It will be run in a similar way to CarFest because we like how they do it, and we’ve gone for bands that will appeal to the younger audience, making it much more family-orientated.”
Ribble Valley Live’s chosen charities this year are Pendleside Hospice and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The festival begins at 3pm on Friday, July 5 and 1pm on Saturday with music continuing until 11pm.
