IT looks to be a rather wet couple of days in East Lancashire as rain is forecast across the weekend.
Rain is set to hit the pavements at around 2pm today and continuing into the evening and overnight, according to the Met Office.
Temperatures will not vary much from 12 degrees celsius.
Going into Saturday, rain is likely to return at around 6am and push into the late afternoon, hopefully stopping at around 6pm.
Sunday does bring a slight hope of sunny weather in the early afternoon, but there is still a strong chance of showers also.
Forecasters have warned the showers will often be heavy with a risk of thunder.
A Met Office spokesman said: "Rain, heavy at times, will continue to affect parts of Cumbria and Lancashire overnight.
"Elsewhere, slow-moving heavy showers will gradually ease overnight.
"Winds increasing around coastal areas later.
"The minimum temperature will be 11 degrees celsius.
"After an unsettled period of weather across the UK, there are signs that drier and more settled conditions could begin to develop from Tuesday.
"Many areas are likely to be dry on Tuesday, although isolated showers are possible in the north and east."
Despite the bad weather, it is thought Storm Miguel will miss the north west despite hitting the UK mainland on Saturday morning.
