A PARTYGOER whose car had been moved while he was asleep "foolishly" decided to drive it back.
Blackburn magistrates heard police had already been called to the event in Snape Street, Darwen, and when they stopped Mark Peter Fisher he staggered out of his car and nearly fell to the floor.
And his comment to the officers was: "I'm well over the limit, you have got me."
Fisher, 20, of Clifton Street, Darwen, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. He was fined £250 with £50 costs and banned from driving for 16 months.
Rachel Adamson, defending, said Fisher had never been in trouble before and was a hard working young man.
