TRAIN commuters no longer face delays travelling into Manchester aftter one of its stations reopened following a safety inspection.
Passengers journeying from East Lancashire stations to Manchester will now able to get off at Manchester Victoria.
It was feared the station would be closed for several hours due to a safety inspection but Northern has now said train services will be running as normal through the Manchester station.

In a tweet, a spokesman for Northern said: "Train services running through Manchester Victoria are now running normally.
"Following a safety inspection all lines at Manchester Victoria all lines have reopened."
