AN employment tribunal hearing a case against a Euro MP has been adjourned.
The hearing, in Manchester, has been brought by Hilary Harris, who worked for North West MEP Dr John Whittaker.
Mrs Harris has brought a £30,000 claim for constructive dismissal against the UK Independence Party MEP.
She told the tribunal she had been pressurised to return to work after having a stroke.
After she had given her evidence, she was cross examined by a barrister representing Dr Whittaker, who is UKIP's national chairman.
Time ran out with Dr Whittaker and a party official yet to give evidence, so the tribunal was adjourned.
It will restart on Monday, December 17.
