A GROUP of scantily-clad girls are certain to get the stamp of approval this Christmas after providing an alternative to striking postmen.

The "Bare Facts" girls have launched a new business, ready to deliver festive parcels for people who are worried about the post as Royal Mail staff continue their dispute over pay and conditions.

They will charge a minimum £20 courier fee for delivering letters and parcels.

Prices go all the way up to £180 for a "birthday surprise" which involves presents and a kiss-a-gram.

They have also recruited some Bare Facts boys to appeal to as many customers as possible.

The company is based in Blackburn but will deliver to addresses across the North West, with reps' located throughout the region.

Boss Wayne Johnson said: "Each delivery is tailored to the individual's needs and we are confident it will be a success.

" It will certainly be different.

"I think a lot of people are fed up with the postal service and we are a fun alternative."

He said that as well as sexy Santa outfits the girls can dress as police officers and nurses, as well as in smart suits.

The boys can also be dressed smartly or in outfits including fireman or soldiers.

Among the services offered is a one-hour guaranteed delivery option in the North West.

The idea has the backing of Blackburn businesswoman Margo Grimshaw, who has given the group advice. Margo said: "The idea came about because of all of the postal strikes that have been going on recently.

"Everyone is getting a bit fed up not receiving the post and these girls thought they had the answer.

"Who wouldn't want their Christmas present delivered by a Santa looking like they do?"

The business launches on November 9.
