SEVEN workers at a Burnley shoe warehouse have been made redundant.
Almost half of the worldwide workforce of shoe and homeware manufacturer Lambert Howarth have lost their jobs after the company went into administration last week.
But 37 of the 44 shop floor and management workers at the firm's site in Healey Wood Road have escaped the axe under restructuring by administrators BDO Stoy Hayward, and a spokesman said it was hoped the warehouse could be sold as a going concern.
The firm went into adm-instration last year.
