A MAN was hit on the head with a pint glass as he and his friends left a pub to escape the aggressive behaviour of two men.
Nathan Cook admitted punching the victim but pleaded guilty to assault on the basis that the other man had used the glass.
Cook, 18, of Cherry Lea, Blackburn, admitted assaulting Samuel Banks.
Blackburn magistrates made him subject to community supervision for two years, and ordered him to do 80 hours unpaid work and pay £100 compensation and £100 costs.
