A man had to be treated for smoke inhalation after a tumble dryer caught fire in a cellar.
Emergency services were called to a property on Lord Street in Crawshawbooth at around 2.30pm on Monday.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Two crews attended reports of a tumble dryer fire at a domestic property on Lord Street, Crawshawbooth.
"The fire was located in the cellar of the property."
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
The spokesperson added: "There was one casualty at the incident who was given precautionary checks by ambulance crews at the scene for the effects of smoke inhalation."
Crews were in attendance approximately two hours.
