EAST Lancashire Euro-MP Sajjad Karim has scooped a top Parliamentary prize.
The Conservative MEP for the North-West won an outstanding achievement award recognising his extensive work on EU International Trade.
The former Pendle solicitor, who was born in Blackburn who grew up in Brierfield and now lives in Simonstone, was presented with his accolade last week at a awards ceremony organised by Dods Parliament Magazine.
Mr Karim, currently the chair of the European Parliament’s South Asia Trade Monitoring Committee said: “I am absolutely delighted and honoured.
“When dealing with trade related issues, I have always sought the best possible outcome at all times for my constituents in the North West."
