A MAN who subjected a reveller to an unprovoked street attack in the early hours of New Year's Day has received a three-month curfew.
Daniel Spedding, 22, headbutted victim Simon Lampard to the ground in the beating in Burnley town centre, Burnley Crown Court heard.
Spedding, who at first denied the offence and claimed he had been acting in self defence, admitted common assault.
The defendant, of Harold Avenue, Burnley, was given a community order with 12 months supervision, the addressing substance related offending programme and a three-month curfew between 10pm and 7am.
